Win a Cwtch
Autismum will be a year old on the 18th August. To celebrate, here’s a chance to win a cwtch from the Pwdin. Ok, I can’t send him but I can send a hand-made in Wales cwtch cushion (a cwtch is a snuggly cuddle) – I’ll make sure he gives it a big squeeze right before I pop it in the post.

I’ll put the names of everyone who responds into a box and will video the Pwd – the boy, the legend – himself drawing out the winner on Saturday. Pob lwc.

I want a cwtch!
My favorite Autismum was the one in which you brought the MMS horrors to light and had the back and forth with Ms. MMS herself. The post was important because you brought attention to something we need to stop, and you also demonstrated how hateful the rhetoric and thinking about autistic people has become. I love when you fight for everyone. Nothing beats Autismum when she’s feisty!
And I didn’t just pick that because it’s active right now. In fact, I didn’t even notice that until a second ago!

I loved the MMS post. It was close to home, as I, too, have an awesome Autist son. I am deeply offended by quacks trying to cure something with hazardous chemical substances, harming our children. You took them on, I salute you!

My favorite post was exposing the Patriot Nurse for her misinformation and fallacies. Healthcare professionals need to be held accountable for their actions, even ‘off-duty.’ And when a nurse is spreading mistruths and inaccuracies that can potentially harm the public, it’s important to stop that behavior.

It’s so hard to pick just one! I loved your takedown of the Patriot “Nurse” (HA!), and your discussion of the MMS horror. I think my favorite, though, might be the one where you discuss having to rehome your dog, and the emotional reaction about that. I liked it not because I liked the mental struggle you discussed, but because it was such a gentle discussion of a difficult process.

My favorite post would have to be the epic pwnage of the “Patriot Nurse”. The crying and feelings of persecution from the anti vax mob after that was a wonder to behold.

I love to hate “Patriot Nurse”. It reminds me of our toxic Australian AVN RNs, harassers of the bereaved parents of children who have died of pertussis or SIDS.

I loved your “Neighbours” post, because it shows how you stand up for your pwdin even in the middle of the night and having heard your voice on your videos, I can just imagine you telling off your neighbour so well
